First of all why a review of TopCashBack? I have been using the service for over a year now and thought it was about time to shout about it. What is TopCashBack?
Have you heard of getting “Cashback” from credit cards when you shop, or when a store gives you money back after a purchase? Well TopCashBack is exactly this but Online and across pretty much everything you buy online and when I say everything I mean EVERYTHING!
To date I have managed to get cashback on insurance, my honeymoon, credit cards, new phones, lovefilm, credit reports…the list goes on!
Is there a Catch? Is it Free?
The simple but unbelieveable answer is that Yes, it is Free and No, there isn’t a catch! So what do they get out of it?
The business model is complex but actually quite simplistic.In traditional marketing a client will pay for adspace and is guaranteed no return on their investment.
With the Internet, everything became so much more traceable, suddenly we can track everything from how many people have visited a web page to how many people have bought from a website.
Because of this TopCashBack can guarantee websites who sign up to them customers who will buy products, in return these websites or merchants give TopCashBack a Percentage of every sale that comes through the website and TopCashBack passes the majority of that percentage onto it’s Customers (ie You!).

Pretty much the best thing about this site is that if you have only made £0.20 you can still get it transferred into you bank account, there is no minimum limit to how much you can withdraw. #AmazeBalls

So glad you asked!
When you go to get your money from TopCashBack they give you a few options.
As you can See you get an extra 5% if you take an Amazon Voucher, an Extra 4% if you take a Love2Shop Gift Card or you can just get it into you Bank or Paypal account.
Basically you get a 5% Bonus just for using the money to treat yourself to something off Amazon, bit of no brainer there!
How long does it take to get paid the money?
It takes between 1 and 3 months, but it depends on the merchant.
It takes this long because after a sale is made directly through TopCashBack the merchant then has to verify this is the place it comes from. but as you will see later each sale is recorded, then verified, then made payable. It’s after this point you can take the money out.
Let’s face it it’s worth the wait especially on items you would of bought anyway.
Can I use it for Christmas?
I find that this is one of the best times to use it. I do most of my shopping online and last year I got around £30 back from presents I was going to buy anyway.
Especially this time of year, and in the current climate saving money is vital to just making ends meet and this is just one more way to make savings.

Every item on here is a true transaction and things I would of probably bought anyway. And because nearly every retailer I use is on TopCashBack, I got the best deal on every item.
For Example:
You will notice a large transaction from Expedia, we booked our honeymoon through Expedia after we found going to them worked out cheaper than buying direct from Virgin Holidays.
We are going to Florida, but wanted to stay in two places Disney and by the Beach later in the holiday. Virgin gave us a price that worked out at around £2,500. But by shopping around and getting the cashback we managed to get this down to an amazing £2,000 for a better holiday (we are staying in executive hotel rooms, instead of normal and we got a better flight time).
